Looking for stocks to buy? Below is a list of my top stocks to buy right now and into 2023. These stock picks are stocks I'm buying personally and stocks to invest in long term.
Tesla (TSLA) - Tesla (TSLA) has been one of my top stocks to buy for the last 5 years. I began buying Tesla (TSLA) roughly seven years ago at around $12 per share and have been trading the stock ever since. My stocks to buy rule is simple: Buy stocks with great products so that if you get caught purchasing too high, you don't lose sleep because you know they will eventually come back. Buying Tesla (TSLA) stock is like buying Apple (AAPL) or Amazon (AMZN) 10 years ago. Both companies had great products, were poised for massive growth, and their stocks had momentum and provided investors with huge gains.
The Founder and CEO have skin in the game!
Tesla (TSLA) has Elon Musk who in my opinion is much better than the late Steve Jobs. Steve Jobs never owned that much stock but Elon Musk owns a ton and virtually never sells. Tesla (TSLA) has awesome brand appeal, great products, and electric vehicles are the future just like smartphones were the future many years ago.
Tesla (TSLA) has strong sales growth and explosive earnings potential!
Tesla just turned a profit for the 10th straight quarter and sports a market cap of $1 trillion. When you look across Tesla's product lineup and potential for future products, the white space is very large. When Tesla reports Q1 2022 earnings in early 2022, I'm looking for a monster quarter with a slight contribution from the Berlin, Germany factory. Looking ahead to 2023, I'm expecting Tesla (TSLA) stock to be trading between $1,300-$1,500 which I why Tesla is my top stock to buy now.
Rivian (RIVN) - Rivian (RIVN) is another stock I'm buying right now as shares hit a record low below $50. The company makes electric vehicles and has a big investment from Amazon. While Rivian is early in the production ramp and losing a ton of money, they have enough cash to weather the storm. Expect big things toward the end of 2022 and into 2023.
Rivian (RIVN), a mini Tesla
Amazon (AMZN)
Starbucks (SBUX)
Apple (AAPL)
Netflix (NFLX)
Costco (COST)
